The project proposal includes the implementation of energy efficiency measures in buildings owned by the Municipality of Anton - the kindergarten "Bulgarche" and the Cultural Center in the village of Anton and provides for their transformation into buildings with close to zero energy consumption of energy class A +. Each of the buildings is used in connection with the social functions of the municipality of Anton.The project is in a high degree of project readiness - the municipality of Anton has technical projects for each of the buildings, which are in full compliance with the Energy Audit Reports.The design solutions envisage thermal insulation of external walls, roofs and floors, replacement of windows, construction of photovoltaic facilities on the roofs of the buildings generating energy only for self consumption, modernization of heating systems with implemented automation and energy management systems and combined systems for heating by air-to-water heat pumps using renewable energy - all of it leading to a significant reduction in energy consumption and generated carbon emissions.The project is being implemented in partnership with the Norwegian company Mpenergi AS, whose expertise and know-how in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy management will be shared with the Municipality of Anton.For the effective implementation of the project, the Municipality of Anton will set up a project team of experts with years of experience in infrastructure projects.The project envisages project management activities, construction and civil engineering works, construction and authorship supervision, peer-to-peer expert exchange, project audit and information and publicity measures.
Summary of project results

Each of the buildings is used in connection with the social functions of the municipality of Anton. Poor energy efficiency of buildings and high electricity costs.
The following activities were implemented: - Thermal insulation of external walls - only for the building of the Cultural center - Replacement of windows - for both buildings - Thermal insulation of the roof - for both buildings - Floor thermal insulation - only for the building of the Cultural center - Modernization of the heating system, incl. energy automation and management system - for both buildings - Construction of a photovoltaic installation for RES energy self consumption. - for both buildings
The implementation of the project leads to the following results: 1. Annual emission reductions of 879.312 tonnes of CO2 eq .; 2. Annual reduction of budget expenditures for electricity by EUR 35 959.19; 3. Annual energy savings of 745.179 MWh/y; 4. Improved quality of life of the population, which will benefit from the improved buildings - about 1500 people;
Summary of bilateral results
Improved bilateral cooperation with interested stakeholders in the field of energy efficiency to present good practices and future development of the city and the municipality in this regard.
