Description
Community center "Prosveta" is attractive place for the citizens and is the center of the cultural life of the Municipality. Up to date there are several amateur ensembles and groups, three dance groups, covering different age, kuker group, chamber choir, club "Young friend of the book, actor groups for different agesThe quality of the rehearsal process and the organization of cultural events is completely dependent on the conditions of the execution.The project proposal includes improvement of the energy characteristics of the building, implementation of high-efficient heat pump for heating, powered by photovoltaic generator for own usage.The measures include heat insulation of the outer walls and the roof, replacement of old windows, total refurbishment of the inner heating system and mounting of modern high-performing heaters.The project proposal will implement the prescribed energy efficiency measures defined by the detailed energy survey, that are necessary for achieving the requirements for "Nearly zero-energy building".
Summary of project results
Increasing the level of energy efficiency in the building and significantly reducing the carbon emissions generated and transforming the building into a "near-zero energy building".
The project achieved an improvement in the energy performance of the building, the implementation of a highly efficient heat pump heating system, powered predominantly by a renewable energy source - a photovoltaic generator for own consumption. The activities include thermal insulation of external walls and roof, replacement of old joinery, a complete change of the internal heating system and the implementation of modern highly efficient heating appliances.
Comfortable conditions for conducting the rehearsal process and holding events in the Prosveta community center have been ensured at the lowest energy costs and with a minimal environmental footprint. The improved conditions will attract new opportunities for holding cultural events throughout the year and the development of theater and dance arts in the municipality.
