Description
The project aims to implement a series of activities that will contribute to the realization of energy efficiency in two public buildings, which house kindergarten “Radost” and kindergarten “Slantse”, as well as creating conditions for their transformation into buildings with close to zero consumption of energy.
The buildings were selected on the basis of the following features: an acute need for energy renovation, large capacity and high attendance, as well as their strategic location. Both buildings will be fully isolated, windows changed so that they can reach class A of energy efficiency. In addition a RES will be installed: The heating of the "Radost" kindergarten will be carried out through the use of a combination of two types of renewable energy sources - highly efficient heat pumps and a photovoltaic; in “Slantse” kindergarten only photovoltaic of 10.5 kWp is envisaged.
The main activities include:
- Implementation of energy saving measures in the buildings of kindergartens ''''Slantse'''' and "Radost";
- Author and construction supervision,
- Exchange of experience ,knowledge and best practices at management and expert level, publicity, audit and project management.
The target groups of the project are the residents of the city of Vratsa and in particular the users of the two buildings - children, teachers, educators, support and medical staff. Expected results of the project includes full environmental friendliness, high level of efficiency up to 96%, a quiet and safe environment and saving natural and financial resources. The project proposal of the Municipality of Vratsa corresponds to the priorities for the future of the European Union - "Strategy for the use of hydrogen for climate-neutral Europe", which defines hydrogen as a "key priority for the implementation of the Green Deal and the transition to clean energy."
