Description

The main objective of the project is to increase Readymix Agregate SRL energy efficiency by procuring and installing 4 on-grid photovoltaic systems. The company aims to reduce its dependence of conventional energy as well as to optimize its expenses connected with the needed energy for production processes by procuring and installing the 4 integrated photovoltaic systems. The selected technical solution will support the company to achieve an estimated 143 tonnes of CO2 annual reduction.
The company proposes to install the photovoltaic systems on the ground, on a metal structure with a degree of inclination of 35 degrees, facing South, at a minimum ground clearance of 0.5m. 196 photovoltaic panels will be connected to each inverter. The photovoltaic plant will produce electricity for the company''s own consumption. Given the rising prices of energy and the preponderant electricity - based machineries, in order to optimize its business operations, Readymix Agregate SRL has identified the need to install the solar panel systems with an installed capacity of 0.40 MW which will produce 485 MWh/year. This technical solution will allow them to increase productivity, to green production processes and to reduce energy costs.

The investment targeted by this project has a positive impact on the company. Its implementation reduces energy consumption from conventional sources, generates energy cost savings and gives a partial energy autonomy. Furthermore, through the reduction of CO2 emissions generated by the production process, the company will green its activity with positive impact on the environment. 

Summary of project results
