Description
The project involves the organization of four 10-day camps (away education workshops) for Ukrainian women with refugee status and their children. Planned workshops for women: psychological ang integration workshops; coaching workshops on personal development , assertiveness, building self-esteem, creating a "personal brand", using our potentials, decision-making and negotiation skills; civil workshops, the skills to use the services od public utility institution, a guide the offices, knowledge of health care, etc; workshops on profesional activation: cources improving qualifications, writing
Summary of the results
The project organized as many as 4 turnouts, making it one of the few such complex initiatives. A total of 80 Ukrainian refugee women and their children participated in all four 10-day turnouts. During each turnout, all the activities planned in the application were carried out: psychological, coaching, civic and intercultural workshops and job search classes, as well as handicraft, art therapy and photo therapy classes. Nearly half of the participants in each turnout required individual, specialized psychological assistance. Problems that required individual intervention were also: violence against children, bullying issues, ways to look for a job, dealing with social issues, dealing with official and civic issues. In addition, Polish language lessons were conducted outside the program. Experts from Poland and Ukraine took part in the project, which demonstrated great experience and competence. All the established goals were achieved. During the women''s workshop, children were provided with care, divided into age groups. The care activities included creative workshops, dance and fitness classes, games and sports games, watercolor painting workshops, film workshops, art therapy, trips to the forest and the beach. Older children also took part in film and photography workshops, during which the youngsters created their own short films.
