The project will be a form of educational leisure and, at the same time, workshops constituting a multidirectional form: mitigating the experienced cultural shock, integrating Ukrainian society into Polish society, workshops for adults enabling adaptation to new cultural and social conditions, e.g. through training / workshops: polish language, personal training, legal workshops enabling familiarization with the basic issues of everyday life, rights and obligations of people residing in Poland, completing basic documentation that will enable both the use of support provided by Poland and the

Summary of the results

A summer educational workshop for Ukrainian refugees was held in Rymanow Zdroj from August 20-30, 2022. All the stated objectives of the project were achieved. Participants took part in legal workshops along with legal support throughout the duration of the holiday, participants learned the principles of setting up a bank account filling out basic documentation that enabled participants to both take advantage of the support provided by Poland, as well as that functioning in economic transactions, such as concluding an apartment lease agreement, employment contract, written and oral contracts, documentation related to obtaining a pesel number. Participants at the Polish language workshop became familiar with the basic issues of everyday life, rights and duties, learned about grammar and communication issues. In psychological workshops, along with psychological support throughout the turnout, participants were able to experience trauma relief from the harsh experiences of warfare. The workshops also included translators fluent in Ukrainian during the workshops participants were provided with care for their children by professional entertainers and a psychologist. As part of the animation, the children had classes in Polish language and culture, during these classes the children had a sense of joy and satisfaction of learning through play, they also took part in artistic activities, developed motor skills, formed skills of cooperation in a group.
