Description
The main objective of the project consists in implementation of an integrated photovoltaic system in order to assure electricity from renewable resources for the production processes and to reduce its CO2 emissions.
The proposed investment consists in the acquisition and installation of an integrated photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 996,30 KWp, capable to produce up to 1.110 MWh per year which will optimize company energy costs with at least 15% and reduce CO2 emissions with at least 507 tonnes of CO2.
The photovoltaic systems will be connected to the electricity grid by the inverter, without active energy injection into the distribution operator''s grid, only for own consumption purposes.
The photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roof of company''s facility, using metal fixing structures. Key activities of the project include:
- Construction works and installations of photovoltaic system.
- Project management by internal team.
- Publicity to ensure the visibility of the project.
The investment targeted by this project has a positive impact on the company. Its implementation reduces energy consumption from conventional sources, energy cost economy and gives a partial energy autonomy.
Summary of project results
The challenge was to reduce its CO2 emissions by acquisition and installation of an integrated photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 996,30 KWp, capable to produce up to 1.110 MWh per year.
The project aimed to implement a high innovative energy efficiency system based on solar panels and additional dedicated equipment, in order to reduce the greenhouse gas produced by the company, increase the productivity and lower the energy costs.
Implemented a solar panels system with an installed capacity of maximum 996.30 kWp. Reduction of greenhouse gas produced by company with approximatively 507,00 tonnes of CO2 equivalent/year; Reduction of energy costs and local grid dependency by producing our own green energy from solar resources in an equivalent with 1.110 MWh/ year.
- Expected outcomes:
- Estimated annual CO2 emission reductions: 507 tonnes of CO2 eq./year;
- Energy produced from other renewable sources in MWh/Year: 1.110 MWh/Year; Expected outcomes:
- Installed capacity for production of electricity from photovoltaic panels (in MW): 0.99 MW; - Done
- Number of new installations for production of renewable energy: 1. - Done
