Description
The main objective of the project consists in implementation of 6 integrated photovoltaic systems in order to assure electricity from renewable resources, to reduce the energy costs, the CO2 emissions and increase security of energy supply. SC Cometex aims to reduce its dependence of conventional energy as well as to optimize its expenses connected with the needed energy by procuring and installing 6 integrated photovoltaic systems with a capacity of 998,40 KW.
The technical solutions propose the developing of photovoltaic systems for six locations: Slatina, Braila, Turda, Ploiesti, Galati and Brasov. The photovoltaic systems will be connected to the electricity grid, without active energy injection into the distribution operator''s grid, only for own consumption purposes. Each photovoltaic system is connected to the grid by the inverters, that is accompanied by a meter that measures the produced energy versus the energy that is taken-in from the grid. The photovoltaic panels will be placed on the roof of company''s facilities, using fixing structures. Key activities include:
- Delivery and set-up of the PV systems.
- Internal project management.
- Publicity to ensure the visibility of the project.
Expected outcomes include an estimated annual CO2 emission reduction of 507 tonnes. The energy produced from other renewable sources in MWh/year is estimated to be around 1.110 MWh/year. The current project is representing an important step for the long term development strategy. Its implementation reduces energy consumption from conventional sources, energy cost economy and gives a partial energy autonomy.
