Description
Within the project, we conduct communication and education activities dedicated to (self-)advocacy for families who experience legal and social discrimination. We would like to develop the competences of people who work with such families in public institutions, NGOs and private entities in the area of counteracting institutional, indirect and direct discrimination. We will conduct research on family perceptions and families’ experiences related to discrimination. We will organise an outdoor ''Magic of Families'' campaign using painted portraits. A movie will be created that shows the experiences of diverse families. We will hold anti-discrimination workshops for institutions as well as open meetings. The ‘Charter for every family’ programme will be developed and handed over to the local authorities of the city of Lodz. We will organise a conference for institutions from all over Poland. The project will involve both people from diverse families who want to be heard and seen, and the teams of institutions working for them. We will build a space for people who form families regardless of their beliefs and values. The project is carried out in partnership with the Lodz Girls for Girls Association.
