Summary of project results

Project Female Energy For Policy reacted to the low representation of women in politics and decision-making positions, which follows from both internal and external facts. The aim was to increase the number of self-confident, supported and educated women who are interested in working for the public and to pass information to the public about the need and importance of women in politics. The changes that took place within the project are sustainable, the project has a significant overhang for the region and its influence is and will be felt even after. One result is the foundation of the association Zeen, in which the project team continues to work. The project enriched the region with a completely new topics – e.g. mentoring, networking and council circles, we cooperated with the organization Forum 50%, and established cooperation with foreign countries. Political representation were regularly alert to the issue. We brought politicians and policies to the conference. Responses of involved women exceeded expectations, not only that we motivated women to work for the public, but the women themselves speak in the final questionnaire about the changes that they succeeded, both in public work but also in personal development and life.
