The aim of the project is to create an infrastructure of sustainable cooperation between health care and social service institutions by organizing low-intensity emotional counseling services for residents of Jonava district, thus increasing the availability of confidential, free mental health and social services, reducing health inequalities and social exclusion through interventions and prevention measures.

The target group. Adult residents of the whole Jonava district, who have mild signs of stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression and psychological adaptation problems. It is planned to cover the residents of both urban and 8villages, bringing together groups of various national, cultural and religious affiliations and social status (420 persons). Jonava district already has 25 m. experience of "cohabitation" with foreigners, refugees and others, foreigners with the permission to live in Lithuania. Foreigners eventually became part of our community. However, due to their vulnerability, they experience symptoms of psychological adaptation, stress, anxiety, depression much more often than locals.
THE AIM OF THE PROJECT. To create an infrastructure of sustainable cooperation between health care and social service institutions by organizing low-intensity emotional counseling services for all residents of Jonava district, thus increasing the availability of confidential, free mental health and social services, reducing health inequalities and social exclusion through interventions and prevention measures.
TASKS: 1. Organization of low intensity emotional counseling services in Jonava district; 2. Increasing the attractiveness and publicity of the services of a welfare consultant.
Two welfare consultants have been employed and premises have been established in the city of Jonava and in the Rukla district, welfare consultant services are provided. The target group. Adult residents of the whole Jonava district, who have mild signs of stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression and psychological adaptation problems. An infrastructure of sustainable cooperation between health care and social service institutions was created, organizing low-intensity emotional counseling services for all residents of Jonava district, thereby increasing the availability of confidential, free mental health and social services, reducing health inequalities and social exclusion through intervention and prevention measures. 425 persons were consulted (more than 100% of the intended indicator was achieved). 380 persons received a full cycle of consultations (more than 100% of the intended indicator was achieved).
The social services center of the Jonava district implemented the welfare consultant model in the Jonava district, employed two welfare consultants and established premises in the city of Jonava and Rukla district, providing welfare consultant services. Specialists work well even after the end of project financing. The results of the project have the opportunity to be used by the residents of Jonava district municipalities - no restrictions on the use of the created services are and will not be foreseen. The results created during the project will be used after the completion of the projects. The goods purchased during the project were handed over to the social services center of the Jonava district. Continuity of activity results: the project applicant undertakes not to change the nature, goals or implementation conditions of the activities for which the investments were allocated for 5 years, if this would harm the goals of the projects. Creation of a welfare consultant model, provision of specialists to help find systemic, organizational, financial, legal and political solutions to emerging health care service problems.
