Description
The overall goal of the project is to reduce the energy poverty through the electrification of the 47 households by using energy produced from photovoltaic panels in Târlișua Commune and ensuring normal living conditions for a number of 132 people who will benefit from the connection to electrification solutions.
The project proposes the installation of photovoltaic panels to electrify 47 isolated household. In the area of Târlișua Commune, the inhabitants face the lack of electrification, registering the lack of TV, washing machine, but also other elements such as the lack of a refrigerator, electricity for their economic activities. The green electricity will supply the houses which currently are not electrified. Most of the buildings related to non-electrified households do not have a resistant roof which could allow the installation of photovoltaic panels. Therefore, the photovoltaic panels will be equipped with special fasteners for their mounting on a metal structure inclined at an optimal angle of 35 degrees. The panels will be anchored to the ground by means of galvanized steel metal poles that will be used also for grounding.
Key activities of the project include:
- Technical and electrical design.
- Project investment.
- Project management.
- Publicity to ensure the visibility of the project.
Expected outcomes include an estimated annual CO2 emissions reductions by 11,07 tonnes/year and energy produced from renewable sources in MWh/Year of 37,42 MWh/Year. The installed capacity for production of renewable energy (in MW) is estimated to be around 0.0855 MW.
Summary of project results
The main challenge of the project was to reduce the energy poverty through the electrification of 47 households.
Following the implementation of the project, 47 isolated households were electrified in Tarlisua Commune, Bistrita - Nasaud county, by installing photovoltaic panels in order to produce green energy.
The project results are: 47 electrified households, 132 people are benefitting from being connected to electricity, green energy is produced in total amount of 37,42 MWh/Year and estimated annual CO2 emissions reductions are 11,07 tonnes/year.
