Description
The project aims to promote learning based on practical activity in all its forms. The high school is a school unit in rural areas, educates students at risk of exclusion, social marginalization due to poor living conditions, with few opportunities. Project objectives: O1. Extending / deepening the learning outcomes of teachers, the practice tutor to improve the quality of student learning through practice at work in an international context. O2. Development of key competencies for the development of documents and tools to improve student learning: Local Development Curriculum - CDL and Learning Agreement. O3. Development of transnational partnerships and their consolidation by promoting work-based learning in companies. The target group that will participate in the studio visit are 10 participant: 1 the management staff of the Technological High School ,, Constantin Brancusi ,, Pestisani; 1 - English teacher; 5 -VET teachers; 3 – tutors from - SC PelavServSRL. The activities that will take place within the project are: the activities of organization, implementation, monitoring, dissemination, valorization of the project; activities during the study visit: Job shadowing, round tables, document analysis specific to students'' practice at project partners, assistance with practical activities of students, presentation of good practice methods from the Cypriot system, workshops for document creation (Local Decision curriculum , Learning Agreement). Expected results: improving the knowledge, professional and personal skills of the participants, enriching the school portfolio, international cooperation, which will contribute to reducing dropout, lowering the unemployment rate in communities.
Summary of project results
The project was relevant to the intended target groups and partner institutions. The objectives were achieved and all the proposed results were achieved, at a good level of quality.
• All the 7 teachers participating in the study visit declared that they developed their skills/competences.
• The 3 representatives of the partner economic agent participating in the study visit declared that they have developed skills regarding the organization of students'' internships.
• A total of 10 people participated in the study visit.
• There is 1 Roma student in the school, 0.9% of the total of 111 students.
• 90 students (100%), out of the total number of 90 students in the VET classes, declared that they obtained better learning results during the internships than in previous years.
A significant number of deliverables were achieved:
• 3 Local Development Curricula (CDL),
• 1 curricular aguide
• 1 learning agreement
• Project website.
The added value of the study visit is credibly demonstrated. The structure of the 3 CDLs complies with the provisions of the methodology in force, the number of hours allocated and the units of targeted learning results are specified. Through the results obtained, the project team established at the level of the applicant and the partner company demonstrated the involvement in the project and good cooperation. All participants reported improved skills. The measures taken for the recognition and equalization of professional credits for the teaching staff participating in the study visit are mentioned. The project page on the applicant''s website contains all the developed materials, presents the main activities of the project and the daily schedule of the study visit. The potential to use the approach and learning outcomes obtained in this project in other types of projects and/or in projects of the same type for different qualification areas or qualifications is quite high
The activities carried out within the project are not detailed. Practical arrangements for supporting participants during the study visit are not clearly described.
