Description

The project contributes to combating poverty and the risk of social exclusion, offering an innovative intervention model that multidirectionally addresses the problems/deficiencies identified at community level and ensures the increase of the access of people belonging to disadvantaged groups (children, young people, adults, elderly) to social services in areas such as social assistance, education, health, employment. The project provides for the construction of a building on the land made available by UAT Baia Commune and the establishment of a Community Center that will serve the project beneficiaries. The target group is made up of 500 people at risk of poverty and social exclusion, out of which: - 200 children - especially of Roma ethnicity ; they will benefit from complex support for inclusion and maintenance in the education system, namely educational programs, motor activities and movement games, a hot meal, etc.;- 150 young people  who have or who have not obtained baccalaureate degrees or who attend vocational schools, including young people who do not follow any education or training programme; they will benefit from psychological and vocational counselling to facilitate access to the labor market, - 70 adults (unemployed or inactive people), who will benefit from professional training in the field of entrepreneurship, coaching for business development and assistance in identifying and accessing potential sources of funding, - 80 elderly people, who will benefit from improving the quality of life by offering socio-medical services to beneficiaries who do not have access to this type of services due to the fact that there are no medical offices in the proximity of the beneficiaries. Also, within the project, services related to the improvement of housing conditions (renovation / sanitization of five houses belonging to disadvantaged families) will be offered.
