Summary of project results
The aim of the project “Think As You think” is to strengthen the civic community of smaller Lithuanian municipal schools by developing the ability not to follow negative prejudices, creating an inclusive community and creating favorable conditions for the integration of vulnerable groups and a dignified life.
During the project, a human rights communication campaign was implemented, during which educational videos were created and publicized, denying stereotypes about 4 selected social groups, maintaining contact with the communities of smaller Lithuanian municipalities and creating an environment favorable for integration in schools.
The project has established a new way of building an inclusive community in the school by organising activities for students, using the visual aids developed during the project and discussion methodologies. Schools are already starting to contact our organisation to ask us to introduce the methodology and to run at least one session for their pupils. At the moment, in the "Culture Passport" only the events promoting the "Living Library" are registered, but we intend to register on the platform for pupils the methodology of the project "Think as you think", which helps more closed school communities to gradually discuss the active inclusion of vulnerable groups in the community. The results achieved through this tool will not only be continued, but also sustainable and easy to find on a cultural education platform familiar to schools.
