Description

The initiative aims to establish bilateral bonds that would allow us to carry out the large project during the second stage of the EEA Health Programme. The initiative will take place between late September until November. First, a delegation from ČSAP should visit Oslo, Norway, where we would meet our partners, NGOs, and public institutions to discuss the main topic of our large project: preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as an effective tool of HIV prevention, and details of its implementation within the Norwegian public health system, its cost-effectiveness, availability, compliance, and

Summary of the results

Thanks to the initiative, experts of ČSAP got to know the way PrEP is introduced as a preventive measure in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Norway and the system of operation in the healthcare sector there. This will significantly help the Czech side to design a similar system adapted to the environment of the Czech Republic.
