Description

The project aim is to provide high quality and accessible as well as youth-friendly health care services that will encourage young people to choose a healthier lifestyle in the project area. In order to achieve the goal project will develop and implement youth-friendly health care services model algorithms in Plungė, Tauragė and Mažeikiai municipalities by employing a coordinator and psychologist in each municipality and organizing supervisions, inter-institutional cooperation and youth training events. Youth-friendly health care services model will promote a healthy lifestyle and reduce the risk of diseases in the future. Public events and trainings for youth will also promote social communication between young people, and ensure inter-institutional cooperation by sharing important knowledge by various local institutions.

Summary of project results

The project aim is to provide high quality and accessible as well as youth-friendly health care services that will encourage young people to choose a healthier lifestyle in the project area. Youth-friendly health care services model has been developed and implemented in Plungė, Tauragė and Mažeikiai municipalities by adopting algorithms. In each municipality a coordinator and psychologist provided services to youth during the project period. Other activities such as supervisions, inter-institutional cooperation and youth training events have been organized. Youth-friendly health care services model promoted a healthy lifestyle, public events and trainings for youth also promoted social communication among young people, and ensured inter-institutional cooperation by sharing important knowledge by various local institutions.
