Summary of project results
Thanks to the support the platform "Nová síť" confirmed the need and importance of the activities. The project promoter stabilised the consultancy activities, clearly defined the fields they support within the consultancy. The portal ART-IN-RES is used intensively across the cultural community. They were able to bulldoze the network of residential centres. Here it was necessary to clearly define what a residency was and which ones to include in this platform. The project promoter dealt with the Covid19 pandemic by moving some activities to the online.
The project activities were important as they led to the fulfilment of the project objectives and strengthened cooperation, competences and skills of people in the cultural sector. The following activities were implemented in the project: 2 conference Culture Get-Together in 2021 and 2022, 6 plenary meetings of the Czech Cultural Network Nova sit, 1 online portal and residency support program ART-IN-RES with 16 residencies, 7 know-how exchange Czech Republic - Norway - residency program and series of workshops and seminars.

All of the project meetings, residencies, conferences and activities were able to continue even after the end of the EEA Funds support and are still functioning and developing today. In order to establish further foreign relations, the Czech-Norwegian residency programme was extended in 2024.
Summary of bilateral results
The Norwegian partner, the cultural and residential centre Surnadal Billag, was chosen on the basis of a previous bilateral meeting. Thanks to a personal meeting with manager and visual artist Jon Arne Mogstad, who gave the project promoter a tour of the residency center, they were reassured that the destination in the rural area of the More og Romsdal region will be a great place for Czech residents an attractive and inspiring place to create or share know-how. The aim of the Czech-Norwegian residency programme was to exchange know-how between Czech and Norwegian networks and artists in the field of performing arts and to promote international cooperation and cultural mobility. In the years 2021-2022, thanks to the support of the EEA Funds, 4 residencies of Czech residents in the village of Surnadalsora in Norway and another 3 residencies of Norwegian collectives in residency centres in Komařice, Žďár nad Sázavou and Brno took place. In total, the skills of 23 artists or cultural professionals and the management of Surnadal Billag and the Czech host organisations were developed. It was a smooth cooperation that led to further contacts with the Norwegian cultural scene (Trondheim, Oslo). For example, the collective Third//space presented the world premiere of the project "re_MIND_er", which was created during a residency in Surnadal Billag, at the Fjord Festival in Oslo.
