Description

A comprehensive, practical and systematic education will be provided to 40 people from vulnerable
groups in the programme of the Social Academy 4.0. Training allows them to acquire competences and
support and enable them to implement their ideas and plans that will have a positive impact on them
and their communities. According to the UK School for Social Entrepreneurs, a pilot low-threshold
training programme for mentally ill people, single mothers and people from socially excluded localities
will be developed. 2 regional networks of stakeholders and a sustainability model will be established

Summary of project results

I consider the greatest success of the project to be that the Social Academy has fulfilled its function. We know from student feedback that it gave them what we originally expected from the Academy. According to many of them, the educational program was well designed, comprehensive, balanced and interesting. Participants received a clear summary, the courses contained everything they needed, and it helped them start the processes. There was room for an individual approach in teaching. The program was not only about knowledge, but also about practical skills, motivation and self-knowledge. The educational model is good and valued by the participants, but it is very demanding on human resources. Lecturers must keep in mind that these are students with special needs who are disadvantaged and often do not respond as standard. Thanks to the project, it proved that the teaching program of the Social Academy is well built, works and fulfills its goal, but it was not possible to set a sustainable way of its further functioning. We plan to develop an abbreviated version of the teaching, which will not be as effective, but will be less costly. We will offer this shortened version to the regions. We also want to adapt the curriculum to the needs of refugees from Ukraine. Based on the successful pilot verification of the Social Academy program, we, as a consortium of cooperating partner organizations, evaluated that we will continue its further development.
