We react to the need to increase our capacities and to professionalize our work. The goal is to create and implement a plan for the work with the group of constituencies – to approach the new ones and to activate the current ones, willing to engage in public affairs. Campaign Action Days will lead to the involvement of individuals and the deepening of awareness about the work of NGOs in the region. We will gain partial financial independence through the auctions into which we will involve the donors – celebrities. We will gain new knowledge and experience in social media and fundraising.
Summary of project results
The project was supported in the field of Strengthening non-profit organizations. We see a long-term positive impact in the transformation of our work in the field of PR and FR. We have new plans to engage backers. The improvement of the work on social networks - fb and the creation of an IG account is significant (education, graphics, improvement of the form of communication of topics, greater motivation for current supporters to take action, paid advertising, polls, questioning of the target group, improvement of columns - e.g. Dobronovinky - clear offers of dobrovonic opportunities 1x a week). In this regard, we perceive a significant stabilization of work - we know how to do, when and what to do. We are followed by more supporters on fb, and now also on IG, potentially more people involved in civil society activities. Thanks to the outputs of expert analyzes and other contexts, the name of the organization is changing. We piloted auctions of objects of well-known personalities - in addition to finances, thanks to them we gained a wider base of supporters and specific collaborators (surprisingly also at the level of municipalities). Thanks to the piloting of the Action Days event and our cooperation with networked organizations in the JmK region and thus with representatives of the state administration and self-government, it proved to be a suitable flagship for the future. We will organize it once a year for two days in the entire JmK. As such, the event also opens the door to authorities and institutions - it is visible in the media, activates civil society and has a real impact in the specific volunteer assistance provided on the spot. As an indirect impact, we see in our organization the strengthening of the core team - skills, knowledge - there was room to clarify and stabilize a number of things (strategic planning, feedback and evaluation meetings), etc. We have elaborated specific plans and manuals that make our work easier and more efficient, better we involve new collaborators, externs and volunteers. It turned out in the future that it is really necessary to hire experts for expert work and to try to avoid the "we''ll do it somehow" and "work on our knees" solutions.
