In the school year 2015/16, the school will organise a new educational program for media technician. As “beginners” in this field, we would like to learn about how a partner school implements this kind of programs. The aim of the project is to gain additional knowledge and competences and to have a wider view of the educational program. The partner of the donor country is Vågen vidergaende skole, which would selflessly share their "know-how" and thereby help to overcome initial troubles with the introduction of a new educational program. The partnership would strengthen relations between the schools that already participate in the program 'Exhibition design', which is related to our display design technician. The outcomes of the partnerships are expected to be: an improved rough curriculum; the preparation of the basis for some implemented curricula for professional modules; the introduction of new working methods; and the exploration of the organization of practical training.
Summary of project results
In the school year 2015/16, our school was supposed to start with a new educational program of Media technician. As “beginners” we wanted to learn about how our partner school implements the program. The aim of the project was to gain additional knowledge and competences and to have a wider view into the educational program. Our school’s open curricula (20%) is oriented towards multimedia. Outcomes: - Improved rough curriculum - Preparation of the basis for some implemented curricula for professional modules - Introduction of new working methods - Exploring the organization of practical training - Re-definiton of strategic aims Target groups: - School management SC Sežana - Teachers of technical subjects linked to multimedia - Students of our school - Local social partners in Sežana - School education program - Decision makers (CPI)
