Description

Roofit Solar Energy has developed an innovative building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) panel that combines metal roof and solar panels. Our solar roof looks like ordinary metal roof and is affordable and suitable solution to households who would like to use solar energy and have a beautiful roof at the same time.

Currently the solar roofs take long time to install, are costly and they change the look of the building. Solar roof produces energy for the house. Our modules replace the conventional roofing layer. Roofit.solar roofing element is 2in1 roofing material and solar module. The electricity is produced in a thin photovoltaic layer that covers the metal sheet. The installation is as easy as the installation of standard standing seam metal roof (steel roof). The new solar building material for roofs and facades is extremely strong, durable, and as efficient as regular solar panel and lasts for at least 30 years. Our technology is unique and patent pending.

The aim of this project is to find Norwegian cooperation partners and to introduce metal solar panels to the Norwegian market, in order to prepare for the main project. Outcome of the project: to establish partnership and prepare a good quality application for the main cooperation project. During the small project, we will make necessary analysis and prepare for (international or local) certificates, which are needed in Norway to sell electricity producing building materials.
