Slovenia still lags far behind in this field because there is no effective and comprehensive control and adaptation of legislation and regulations in required, as advocated by the Institute for Safe Play. Within this project the first Innovative Play-Way will be developed - with playing surface and specially designed play tools on the way to school - and made useful, interesting and safe with the professional help of the project team. They will also provide special workshops to educate public (children and adults) about the importance of children's play which is at the same time safe. The purpose of this project is therefore to run a few essential activities which will contribute to Institute's final mission and encourage cooperation at many levels: with sectoral as well as with regional and national authorities.
