Poland launches 60 million open call for proposals

Poland launched its third and final call for individual project proposals on 1 February 2008, making €60.6 million available to Polish NGOs, public and private sector bodies.

Polish public and private sector bodies, as well as non-governmental organisations (NGOs), can submit their grant applications until 31 March 2008. Institutions from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway can participate as project partners.

Projects will be supported within the priority sectors for sustainable development, human resources, Schengen and strengthening of the judiciary, regional policy and cross-border activities, as well support to implement acquis communautaire.

In total Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are contributing more than €530 million to individual projects in Poland over the five-year period 2004-2009.
