Latvia launches 10.7 million call for individual projects

On 11 March Latvia opened its second and final call for individual projects, making €10.7 million available for individual projects. Applications can be submitted until 10 June 2008.

The call for proposals is earmarked to applications for individual projects and covers all priority sectors supported by both the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, including protection of the environment, promotion of sustainable development, conservation of European cultural heritage, human resource development, health and childcare, judiciary and regional policy.

The €10.7 million call for proposals is open to applications from all Latvian legal entities, ranging from public and private sector bodies to non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
Projects may also be implemented together with partners from the donor countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, as well as the other countries within the European Economic Area.
