Poland launches first open call for cultural exchange projects

On 15 April, €1.3 million was made available through the Polish cultural exchange fund to support cultural cooperation between Poland and the EEA EFTA states.

The €4.4 million cultural exchange fund is earmarked partnership projects between Poland and the EEA EFTA states.
Grants ranging from €10,000 to €250,000 will be awarded to activities that strengthen the countries' cultural cooperation within the areas of stage arts, music, literature, folk culture and culture management, as well as projects related to documentation, promotion and protection of cultural heritage.
The cultural exchange fund is supported with a €4 million grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and a further €0.4 million from the Polish government.

Artists, authors, NGOs, state archives, public cultural institutions, as well as local governments are eligible applicants. Proposals by a Polish lead applicant in partnership with a counterpart in Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway can be submitted to fund manager the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage until 16 June this year.
