Description
The project applies an innovative approach that will contribute to improving the lives of 238 children at risk, including children whose parents are working abroad, and of whom 28 are Roma children. The innovative character is reflected by the three measures proposed: (A) sustainable partnerships between local administration and NGOs and adequate training of professionals who will work with children at risk, involving parents/tutors, educational service providers, and members of local communities, (B) development of an integrated action plan containing new socio-educational methods (remedial education, vocational counselling of selected children, psycho-social counselling of parents /tutors of selected children and creative workshops such as painting on wood, glass and ceramic) and (C) setting-up 3 socio-educational centres in 3 rural localities (Cumpana - Constanta County, Prundeni -.Valcea County and Vinatori-Neamt – Neamt County).
