Would you like to get valuable work experience in a international secretariat comprised of 15 different nationalities and learn first hand how the EEA and Norway Grants contribute to social and economic development in the European Economic Area?

The Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels offers candidates a chance to learn about grants and grants management - with tasks ranging from communication and reporting, monitoring and evaluation to financial management and legal work. The FMO reports to the foreign ministries of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and is in continuous contact with the 15 beneficiary states.

Whether your future career goal is in the legal field, project management or in the world of communications, FMO’s coveted traineeship programme can provide you with a great start to your professional career.

All applications are to be submitted via the EFTA e-recruitment tool. We encourage applicants from candidates with different academic backgrounds (e.g social sciences, communication, law, etc.) or with relevant work experience. The traineeships are remunerated and are open to EU and EFTA nationals over the age of 21.
