The call, allocated to applications for individual projects, covers priority sectors supported by the EEA Financial Mechanism. This includes conservation of European cultural heritage, protection of the environment, promotion of sustainable development, human resource development, and academic research.
In total, the EEA Financial Mechanism will make available a gross amount of 31.3 million euros to projects in Portugal over a five-year period until 2009. 60% of the net total amount is allocated to individual projects, 70% of which was made available through this call.
