The successful applicants will have the administrative responsibility for the implementation of the three block grants – or funds – aimed at providing smaller grants to potential end-beneficiaries of the three funds.
The NGO fund has a financial framework of close to six million euros, and will provide financial assistance to NGOs within three priority sectors: promotion of sustainable development, human rights, and social issues. The research fund, totalling close to 2 million euros, will provide support to academic research and infrastructure serving the Slovak research community. The scholarship/schools fund will provide grants to scholarships and to support cooperation among schools within an overall financial framework of just above 1.5 million euros.
