New funding opportunities in the Polish culture programme

Two new calls have now been launched in the Polish culture programme. The calls provide several partnership opportunities for Polish institutions and those from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

Cultural heritage management

  • What is supported? The call will support projects revitalising cultural heritage sites and projects creating new cultural infrastructure. They must create new space for and broaden the scope of cultural activities accessible to the local community along with organising trainings related to cultural heritage management. The call is open to local authorities, churches and religious associations as well as public institutions and NGOs in the field of culture and arts education. Through the projects supported, the call also aims to enhance cooperation between Polish institutions and those from Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
  • How much is funded? The total budget for the call is €60 million. The minimum grant for each project is €500 000 and the maximum is €3.5 million.

Improved access to arts and culture

  • What is supported? The call promotes cooperation between cultural actors in Poland and in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein with the aim to develop professional competences in the cultural and creative sectors. The call will support co-production and presentation of cultural and artistic projects in various fields (e.g. music, performing arts, visual arts including film festivals, historical archives, literature and arts criticism, cultural and arts education, etc.), artist exchanges, inter-institutional cooperation and collaboration on conservation and promotion of cultural heritage. The call is open to public institutions and NGOs in the field of culture and arts education, local authorities, churches and religious associations as well as public and private enterprises in the cultural and creative sectors. Each project must have at least one partner from Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein clearly contributing to the outcomes of the project.
  • How much is funded? The total budget for the call is €3.7 million. The minimum grant for each project is €100 000 and the maximum is €500 000.
