Would you like to get some valuable work experience in a fast-paced international secretariat comprised of 15 different nationalities and learn first-hand about project and grants management? The Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels offers candidates practical knowledge and insights into the running of the EEA and Norway Grants – with tasks ranging from communication and reporting, monitoring and evaluation, to financial management and legal work. The FMO reports to the foreign ministries of Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, and are in continuous contact with the 15 beneficiary states of the grant schemes.
The FMO’s much sought-after 5-month traineeships provide EU and EEA nationals with a great start to their professional careers, whether it will be in the field of project management, law, or the world of communications. We are currently recruiting 2-4 trainees to start on 1 March 2011.
All applications need to be submitted via the EFTA e-recruitment tool. We encourage applications from candidates with different academic backgrounds (e.g. social sciences, communication, law etc) or with relevant work experience. The internships are remunerated and are open to EU and EFTA nationals over the age of 21.
