Between December 2024 and March 2025, the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) is organising national stakeholder consultations for the new EEA Civil Society Fund. In addition, the FMO is organising information sessions for potential bidders for the role of Fund Operator.

The stakeholder consultations will provide the FMO and potential bidders for the role of Fund Operator with knowledge on relevant needs and opportunities of civil society. All interested civil society organisations and other stakeholders are invited to share their ideas on the new fund. This will help us tailoring the programme to each national context.

If you cannot attend a stakeholder consultation but want to let us know your thoughts, please write an email to CivilSocietyFund@efta.int. The FMO will not be able to provide individual feedback.

The information sessions will present the Terms of Reference for the role of Fund Operator and the selection process to potential bidders. They will also give bidders the opportunity to ask questions. In addition, questions can be submitted by Tuesday, 25 March 2025, 13:00 Brussels time through the Bid Portal or by email to FO.bid.support@efta.int.

The consultations and information sessions are held together as one-day events. All stakeholder consultations take place from 09:00 to 14:30. The information sessions for bidders take place from 14.30 to 18.00. All events will be interpreted simultaneously into English and the main language spoken in each Beneficiary State.

Please register for the sessions by clicking  HERE.

Should you have any questions, please contact the organisers: CivilSocietyFund@efta.int

Note: If you want to participate in shaping the Civil Society Fund in your country, then sign up for the stakeholder consultation. If you want to bid for the role of Fund Operator, then sign up for the information session.
