Slovak Climate programme: Matchmaking event

This information and matchmaking event will present opportunities for partnership projects on climate change mitigation and awareness raising in elementary and secondary schools under the Slovak "Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change" (SK-Climate) programme.

The event is orgnaised by the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the Program Manager for the programme, in close cooperation with program partners from contributing states, the Norwegian Directorate for Water Resources and Energy (NVE), Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (NDS) and the Norwegian Environmental Agency (NEA).

The information event will take place on 20 November 2019 in Štiavnické Bane, Slovakia. The exact location of the event will be confirmed in good time by the selected participant.

Eligible participants

The target group of the event are representatives of primary and secondary schools in Slovakia and potential partners from Norway. At the event, schools have the opportunity to present awareness raising activities on mitigation and adaptation to climate change as part of the upcoming project application that the school plans to submit under the SK-Climate programme. Participants from Norway will also give short presentations. Deadline for registration is 30 October 2019.
