Public Health Intitiatives: Seminar on Inequalities in Health

The seminar provides a platform to exchange knowledge and best practices among countries which implement national policies of reducing inequalities in health, as well as to learn local approaches to tackling the issue.The National Institute of Public Health-National Institute of Hygiene, the Medical University of Warsaw and the Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health of Poland will discuss cross-sectoral approaches to social inequalities in health, as well as the Polish Public Health Strategy.Furthermore, representatives from the Norwegian Directorate of Health and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health will present Norwegian experiences, while the Lithuanian and Estonian perspectives will be summarised by representatives of respective Ministries of Health.Download the seminar programmeRead more about the Polish 'Reducing Social Inequalities in Health' programme
