Crossing Borders - Human Rights Education and Historical Learning

The focus will be on investigating how historical learning processes, informed by Human Rights principles and values, can contribute to solidarity, mutual respect and the protection of human dignity. By combining relevant theory with tangible examples, the organizers wish to contribute to the development of educational theory, policy and practice in the service of sustainable democratic development and intercultural understanding.The Conference is organized by the Falstad Centre, the Programme for Teacher Education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the European Wergeland CentreThe EEA and Norway Grants support the programme together with Stiftung EVZ, Freedom of Expression Foundation, Arts Council Norway, and Norwegian  Ministry of Forreign Affairs.Find out more about the conference including the programme on the conference website.
