The Central Administration of Health System (ACSS) organises a closing conference on 17 November in Lisbon. The 27 projects framed within the Programme 'Public Health Initiatives' placed mental health, prevention of communicable diseases, dietary and nutritional habits and health information systems in the Portuguese agenda. The final EEA Grants session will present the results and achievements of nine projects whose activities were concluded between January and April 2017.During this event, a book with the results achieved for each project and area will be distributed. This book also includes the background history of the Programme 'Public Health Initiatives', which contributed to the reduction of inequalities in the field of health in Portugal. Althought there is still much to be done in the field to continue reducing inequalities, the contribution of the 2009-2014 financial mechanism is undeniable and proven by the achieved results.Register for the event here.More information about the closing conference here. Programme of the closing conference.
