OPATRIO: Web-based application for home care service management:

The project “OPATRIO” is aimed at increasing quality of life of seniors and people with different disabilities, who receive home care service in Slovakia. It will be done through the development and implementation of unique home care management system, as previously mentioned.
The project will be beneficial for three target groups: the clients themselves (seniors, disabled citizens and/or their family members), the municipality officials responsible for home care services provision and the employed caregivers.

Summary of project results

The project aimed to develop and commercialize the OPATRIO app, addressing challenges related to public procurement delays, intellectual property protection, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

The project successfully developed, tested, and launched the OPATRIO app, conducted PR activities to generate awareness, and filed a trademark application to protect the app''s brand. Additionally, the project involved extending the implementation period to complete all activities, including app development, pilot testing, market introduction, and marketing efforts.

The project achieved the successful commercialization of the OPATRIO app, benefiting home care providers and users by offering a reliable electronic home care management solution. The project also generated significant public interest and secured intellectual property rights for the app.

The project fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange between Slovak and Norwegian partners, enhancing bilateral relations.
