Description

The objective of this project is revitalization and restoration of a Cultural Monument - the Manor House of Draškovič, which is situated in Čachtice village. The Manor House of Draškovič in Čachtice is a historical building, dating back to the 17th century based on an architectural and historical research. Together with the Church, it is the oldest part of the village.  The reconstruction of the manor house, to be financed from this project, will be primarily focused on the rehabilitation of the building in an emergency state. All construction failures will be eliminated so as to prevent a dramatic deterioration of the construction and technical condition of the building over the next few years. At the same time, the applicant will also carry out the second part of the building’s reconstruction, which will allow a comprehensive renovation of the manor house so that new functions are enabled. The manor house will serve not only as a place of presentation of history (museum) but also as a place of providing services at the level of the 21st century. In the newly reconstructed premises of the manor house, visitors will be given the opportunity to relax and refresh in the newly established café and be able to use the services of the tourist - information centre. The conditions for creating new expositions, establishing a cultural and creative centre, organizing cultural and educational activities in cooperation with the project partner will be created and extended.
