Summary of project results

The Budila commune is a locality in the rural area of Brasov county. According to the town hall''s records, the total population of Budila commune is 5,100 inhabitants, of which the Roma population represents 80%.
The vast majority of Roma are socially excluded and live in extreme poverty. Many people don''t make enough money to maintain a decent and secure living situation. The limited working opportunities do not allow the Roma family to invest in health and education, contributing to the perpetuation of the cycle of poverty that affects the individual and the community.
