Description

This project seeks to bolster the competitiveness of large companies, SMEs, and startups in the manufacturing sector by enhancing their knowledge and capabilities in adopting sustainable business models through the integration of green production processes, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 solutions. This initiative is implemented in collaboration with the "Sandor Arts and Education" Association, based on a Partnership Agreement.

The main aims of the project include enhancing the knowledge and capabilities of large companies and SMEs through a mentoring program focused on sustainable business models, Digitization, Industry 4.0, and green production processes. It also aims to empower startups in the manufacturing sector to develop and adapt technologies within Industry 4.0 models. Additionally, the project facilitates partnerships between ICT startups and 23 companies, fostering sustainable business solutions. These objectives collectively promote sustainability and competitiveness in the manufacturing sector, driving innovation and environmental responsibility.

To achieve these objectives several key activities which include:

- Project Management

- Project Publicity 

- Feasibility analysis and data collection

- External Financial Audit

 

This project also has a strong bilateral component. The partnership with UPKIP AS, a software company that enables the digitalization of processes in industrial enterprises and production environments, will greatly benefit both Romanian and Norwegian business. The exchange of competance and solutions, in addition to building useful bridges between Romanian and Norwegian businesses is beneficial not just in the short term of this project, but also in the long term connection between the two markets.
