The project, "Mentoring for Developing a Green Business Model in Romania," aims to guide Romanian businesses toward sustainability and circular economy practices through conferences and training sessions. By addressing the economic and social disparities within the EU and promoting sustainable development in Romania, it enhances value creation and growth in the local business sector. The project targets SMEs and start-ups nationwide, providing crucial business development skills. It stems from the urgent need for companies to adapt to sustainable practices amid crises like the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukraine war. The project''s innovative approach offers free online education accessible to entrepreneurs across the country, fostering a community of sustainable innovators.
The primary aims of this project are to educate and guide Romanian SMEs and start-ups in adopting sustainable business models, green innovation, and the circular economy. It also seeks to reduce disparities within the EU, increase value creation, and foster a supportive online community of sustainable entrepreneurs.
To achieve these aims the project will undertake a series of key activities, including:

Summary of project results
The project "Mentoring for Developing a Green Business Model in Romania," aimed to guide Romanian businesses toward sustainability and circular economy practices through conferences and training sessions.
3 physical conferences were organized together with three online training sessions.
Following the implementation of the project, 476 start-ups and 289 SMEs have received business skills support, 746 entrepreneurs were trained.
