Description
The project ‘s aim is to ensure a sustainable development of Izotec Group by extending the current production capacity. The technological flow for manufacturing windows and doors will be extended through the investment proposed in the current project. The rationale behind the project is to obtain sustainable business development and offer high quality products with better environmental effects. The technical solution meant for achieving the project aim includes an equipment for welding and cleaning, mounting the hardware, automatic screwing, and profile support.
The general objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of the company by increasing windows and doors capacity as well as increasing the quality. This will also strengthen the company’s brand image since they support environmental protection by decreasing its CO2 emissions and offering a greener product for the market. Key activities include:
- Project management with consultant support.
- Investment activity related to the new equipment.
- Audit by an external auditor.
- Publicity to promote the project.
The expected outcomes of the project include an estimated CO2 annual decrease from 256,42 tonnes in 2019 to 209,63 tonnes in year end of 2022.
Izotec Group declares that the project is in compliance with legal and moral requirements set by legislation and company''s internal rules and procedures. In the implementation team, there are 2 women and 2 men.
Summary of project results
The implementation of this project financed by the EEA and Norway Grants allowed the company Izotec Group to produce more quantitatively and with better environmental results.
Izotec became more competitive as a result of the EEA and Norway Grants and the company is on their way of achieving their objectives:
- Increasing windows and doors production capacity and products quality (passive house compatible windows, lighter and higher transparency windows, front doors, lift-slide doors)
- Strengthening Izotec’s brand image as a company supporting environmental protection by decreasing its CO2 emissions and offering greener products for the market.
