The general objective of the project is to develop a set of documents and a methodology for the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and control of the actions proposed in these documents, which will lead to the reduction of the impact on the environment of the activity of public authorities, economic agents and the population, at the level of Pitesti Municipality.The general objective will be achieved by achieving the following specific objectives:1. Elaboration of a Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Strategy in the Municipality of Pitesti, which also contains the plans for related measures.2. Organization of workshops for consulting the relevant factors regarding the identification of the issues addressed by the Strategy and the measures to solve the identified problemsThe workshops have the role of consulting the relevant stakeholders.3. Development of a study to identify areas at high risk of climate change and measures to minimize these risks, including green-blue urban planning measuresThrough this study, the aim is to identify those areas that can lead to the creation of environmental risk situations. This study will be included in the Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Strategy in Pitesti Municipality. 4. Elaboration of a study regarding the identification of areas with low rainwater drainage capacity. This study will identify those areas where rainwater accumulations are created with a negative impact on the urban environment, and require specific drainage measures and an increase in the capacity to collect rainwater.5. Elaboration of a study for the realization of the necessary infrastructure for the passage of overhead cables underground6. Establishing a mechanism for monitoring and controlling the proposed actions7. Assigning a team responsible for monitoring and implementing the strategy8. Establishing some physically and temporally sized objectives, in order to start the proposed actions.
