Description

The main objective of the project is to implement a photovoltaic system in order to assure electricity from renewable sources for the logistics spaces, to reduce the company''s CO2 emissions and to achieve energy independence. The project is also proposed to reduce the energy costs for the logistics hall since electricity prices have increased significantly.

The technical solution proposes the developing of a 200 KWp photovoltaic plant with direct energy injection into the company''s own network. The photovoltaic plant will be connected to the electricity grid, without active energy injection into the distribution operator''s grid, only for own consumption purposes. The logistics hall is functioning 24 hours/day, 7 days per week. The photovoltaic panels will be placed on roof of the logistics hall. For the conversion of photovoltaic energy will be used 4 inverters with nominal power of 50 KW each. The photovoltaic plant will produce 169 MWh/year for own consumption.

Key activities of the project include:

  • Installation of the PV system.
  • Project management by internal team.
  • Financial audit.
  • Publicity to ensure the visibility of the project.

Expected outcomes of the project includes an estimated annual CO2 emission reduction by 51 tonnes. The project will also generate 1 new job.

Summary of project results

The project consist in installing a 200 KWp photovoltaic plant with direct energy injection into the company''s own network. The photovoltaic plant is connected to the electricity grid, without active energy injection into the distribution operator''s grid, only for own consumption purposes.
