Summary of project results

STRONG POINTS: The project responded to the priorities and objectives of the Program and of the school education area, addressing the priority topic of school inclusion through activities in and outside the classroom (outdoor); The institution updated and enriched its training offer, through a new accredited course, developed its capacity for European cooperation and project management. It has also increased its visibility locally and internationally. The report shows the continuation of cooperation with teachers from other countries who participated in the two mobilities; 6 methodist teachers / trainers developed their skills in designing and supporting inclusive educational activities in and out of the classroom, their English language and intercultural communication skills, in line with the training needs identified and presented in the funding application; The report indicates a good collaboration with partner institutions in Norway and Iceland; The project benefited from adequate dissemination, through various channels. The connection with the workshops within the national strategic project PROF – Professionalization of the teaching career offered an additional channel of dissemination, with good potential for wide-scale impact. The two guides produced also have potential for long-term capitalization.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Some information concerning the distribution of the 300 teaching staff participating in the local activities by schooling level and school area, would have proved the  degree of coverage at the county level and the involvement of teachers and students from disadvantaged areas; More attention is recommended when monitoring the results of continuous training or organized events: post-event feedback from participants and, above all, after a certain period of time, in order to be able to identify what and how much is capitalized in classroom teaching practice, what results it is observed at the level of classes or schools that had participants in these activities.
