Description
Specific objectives: O.1: Promoting project based learning and developing 21st century skills through STEAM, design thinking and problem solving activities, to bring back the students in class and to activate them. O.2: Nurturing a positive culture for teachers and students, developing mental and physical wellness, as a part of daily routine at school and beyond, to increase self confidence during the pandemic, and reduce school drop-out. O.3: Development of knowledge transfer skills and competences acquired by the participants to European mobility, in order to facilitate best practices in interdisciplinary teams, capable of generating innovative quality changes in education and training for 4 schools in the county.
Results:
-acquiring collaborative skills in interdisciplinary teams, with application of project based learning, active learning, design thinking and problem solving activities to stimulate social inclusion and differentiated learning for all categories of students for the 8 expers, applied in 4 partner schools; - applying experiential learning capacities and techniques that recharge teachers and students’ mental and physical batteries, with positive energy as a part of a school day, for the 8 expers, applied in 4 partner schools; -the use of interactive learning methods based on interdisciplinary curricular projects by educational experts that initiate/diversify the teaching practices in 4 partner schools; -knowledge/application of attractive teaching - learning techniques based on pleasant experience of action, play, sensitivity, outdoor movement, activities tried, tested and approved by teachers and their children, methodology renowned internationally, implemented in the school climate of the 4 partner schools in the county.
Summary of project results
- The project responded to the priorities and objectives of the Program and the field of school education, addressing issues related to ensuring well-being, promoting a positive climate, which would stimulate the development of thinking through the project method, confidence and school participation.
- The topic addressed meets the needs described in the funding request.
- The mobilities took place according to the original plan, were well organized and led to good learning outcomes and a high degree of satisfaction among the participants. The Europass mobility certificate has been issued to all participants and the credit equalization process has been initiated.
- The local activities provided in the financing proposal have been implemented and have been supplemented with other activities.
- The impact of the project on the participants in each mobility flow is well presented.
