Description

The partnership formed by this project is a complementary one, composed of 3 organizations, which cumulate their experience in project management, counseling and professional guidance and assisting students in the transition from school to active life in the economic field, service profile.The aim of the project is to create solid and lasting partnerships between the school and the labor market to achieve the modeling of future specialists to more easily adapt to the requirements of employers.

Project objectives:

- Exchange of good practices on the methods used for the practical training of young people in donor states

-Development and improvement of knowledge and skills of human resources belonging to the school but also to the representatives of the participating economic agents

-Application of the knowledge acquired by the human resource, by participating in the elaboration of a curriculum to the school decision

The participants to the study visit to the professional tourism school in Momchilgrad, Bulgary, are:4 VET teachers in the field of public alimentation and tourism, the director of PP and 4 representatives of the Romanian partner company SC ACTIV EVOLIRIA SRL.Project products: 1 Local Development Curriculum and 1 training guide.Project impact: Good solutions for the current problems of socio-professional insertion, so that students see internships as an opportunity to get in touch with the workplace and can easily move from school to work and find a job in the field.

Summary of project results

The project was relevant to the targeted target groups and to the partner institutions, managing to address the identified needs well. The objectives were achieved and all the proposed results were achieved, at a good level of quality.
 All 9 participants in the study visit (5 teachers and 4 representatives of the economic agent) declared that they developed skills/competences.
The results of the project are as follows:
• 5 PP representatives who improved their skills in designing internships and CDLs.
• 4 representatives of the partner economic agent participating in the study visit declared that they have developed skills regarding the organization of students'' internships.
• 60 of the 106 (56.6%) students who are training for the qualifications targeted by the project declared that they obtained better learning results during the internships than in previous years, after the implementation of the project. The percentage is low because, due to the pandemic, not all 106 students did internships.
• Out of the 806 students of the school, only 6 are of Roma ethnicity.
• A total of 9 people participated in the study visit.
• 3 CDLs for the final years of the Gastronomy Technician, Confectioner-Pastry and Cook qualifications;
• 3. Learning agreements for each of the 3 years of study for vocational education qualifications provided in partnership with the partner economic agent in the project;
• A practical training guide for the Chef and Confectioner - pastry chef qualifications.
• 1 school-economic agent partnership that contains ECVET specifications.

More project products were made than those provided in the application form. In the application form, it was provided for the realization of a single CDL and a guide.
