Schools need to prepare students for a fast pace changing world, for jobs yet to be created, technologies to be invented, and problems yet to be solved. Change cannot happen with only individuals, but within teams that collaborate and learn together, within a work culture that needs to be discussed, together with the individual skills to carry that change.The specific objectives of the project are: • to increase with 10%, starting the school year 2019-2020 the number of schools with the practical exploration of the teacher`s role as a change agent, empowered to build change teams towards a personalised, informal and collaborative vision of education; •to increase with 10%, starting the school year 2019-2020 the number of schools which adopt the project-based learning during the educational process; •to increase with 10%, starting with the school year 2019-2020 the number of schools which will include, apply and promote the concepts "teaching as leadership", "learning by doing - not by listening". The results will be complex and diverse: *As tangibile results: one "change team" made up by 4 school inspectors with competences needed to sustain new change teams in the schools from Iasi a collection of innovative practices in their own institutions and schools from region, a collection of modern techniques for inspiration, facilitation, and curriculum design, 4 recognition certificates – Europass documents, 4 individual reports, 1 final report. *As intangible results: experiential ways of learning, more creativity, awareness about innovation and risk in education, a favourable opinion at regional and national level about the concern and support activities carried out by ISJ Iasi for the schools from region, synergy in the schools from the county, increasing the interest for the EEA grants program, improving the language skills, multicultural awareness.
Summary of project results
Multiple and diverse activities were carried out in the project, in a transnational and regional context. Follow up:- transmitting the accumulated acquisitions to the other colleagues from the CSI team- organizing the campaign "I am a change agent" through which we identified teachers and students who have produced profound changes in the county''s schoolsThe results obtained are complex and diverse, with a large footprint in time and space for participants, institutions involved and schools in the county:* As tangible results: collections of models for solving the problem of innovation in education, 4 certificates of recognition -4 Europass documents, the collection of personal examples "I am the change agent" -accessible here.* As intangible results: a new approach to inclusion issues, a new model of an inclusive and democratic school, a "change team" that supports the practice of skills needed to implement innovative practices in their own institutions and schools in the region, a favorable opinion on the activities carried out by ISJ Iași, state of synergy in the schools in the county, increasing the interest for the EEA grant program, improving the language skills of the participants.
