Description

The project aims to transfer knowledge and expertise from the Donor side to the participants in several master programs developed at Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages (FEFL) from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest UPB. The main objective of the project is the developing of materials for the Information Technology Entrepreneurship (ITE) discipline in two versions – for master programs in Management and Engineering, as well as for master programs in Computer Science. The transfer of knowledge in ITE from the Norway side (Østfold University College) to the Romanian academic staff will help the professors to deal with this challenge in the years to come. Another objective of the project partners is to perform research in IT and create research joint papers. The target groups for this project are the staff receiving assistance in developing new subjects and the Romanian master students facing the possibility to start their own companies and to materialize their ideas. The professors from Romania and Norway will have to guide them in this endeavor, performing research in IT in order to find out convincing business designs and to validate the student’s ideas for start-ups.
The best results will be given by successful IT businesses developed in Romania. The most feasible are ones related to web applications, game development, Virtual Reality, Internet of Things. Research in IT will be performed together with the specialists from Norway in order to find out convincing business designs and to validate the student’s viewpoints for start-ups. There will be used the synergy of expertise of the Romanian side on IoT and of the Norway side on software systems, with common interest in Healthcare systems.
The impact envisaged in this project addresses foremost a change of habits in the Romanian learning systems and we prepare it to be a long lasting one.
